Empowering Voices, Inspiring Change

Hope for Tomorrow is a non-profit human rights organization founded in 2007 with the mission of protecting and empowering the most vulnerable communities in Afghanistan. From the very beginning, we have promoted girls’ education by reaching rural and mobile areas, organizing school workshops on women’s and children’s rights, and raising awareness where knowledge about human rights was scarce.

Over the years, our work expanded to include the protection of girls escaping forced and child marriages, and those at risk of so-called honor killings. Our safe houses became sanctuaries not only for these girls, but also for members of the LGBTQ+ community facing persecution and violence. We believe that every individual has the right to safety, dignity, and love.

Even under the challenges of Taliban rule, Hope for Tomorrow continues its mission by supporting hidden schools for girls, facilitating emergency evacuations, offering psychosocial and medical assistance, and advocating internationally for human rights. We share stories of resilience and hope to make sure that those who are silenced are still heard.

Our vision is a future where no one is left behind — where girls can study freely, women can live without fear of violence, and LGBTQ+ individuals can exist openly and safely. Together with our partners and supporters, we strive to build that brighter tomorrow.
